Jerry Levi Boettler, of Moore, Oklahoma, passed away September 7, 2018, at the age of 85.  He was born July 13, 1933, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Roy & Bonnie (Heath) Boettler.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict.  Following his military service, Jerry retired from Tinker Air Force Base as an airplane mechanic.  He enjoyed taking his family camping and to the drive-in movie.  Jerry loved watching his granddaughter, Haley play soccer.  Jerry was a fan of OU football and OKC Thunder basketball.

He is survived by 4 children, Carolyne Allen & husband, Victor, Art Stone, Diana DeBoard, and Bonita Corbin; 2 brothers, Vernon Boettler and Johnny Boettler; 2 sistesr, Brenda Quillen and Wanda Wade; 7 grandchildren, Vicky Boyer, Melinda Brown, Jeremy Boettler, Terra Boettler, Crystal Boettler, Tanisha Robison and Chris, and Haley Sanchez and Michael; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.  Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Bonnie Boettler; his wife, Gladys Boettler; his son, Levi Boettler; and 1 brother, Don Boettler.

Viewing will be held from 3:00pm-6:00pm, Thursday, September 13, 2018 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, located at 120 South Broadway, Moore, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services for Jerry will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 14, 2018, at the Moore Baptist Temple, located at 2501 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, Oklahoma.

Interment will be at 11:30 AM, at Washington Cemetery in Washington, Oklahoma.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, Oklahom
