Edwin Glen Watson, 79 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away on April 18, 2017 surrounded by his family. Edwin was born on July 30, 1937 in Melissa, Texas to Ruben and Nezzie Watson. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of Carpenters Local #329. He served his country in the United States Army National Guard. Edwin enjoyed the outdoors, farming, hunting, and fishing. He had a passion for tractors, especially antique tractors. He owned John Deer, and International Tractors that he drove on his property. His first love was his family.

He is survived by his wife Bobbie of 62years; daughters, Brenda Anderson and husband Ronnie, Debora Dwoody, and Patti Crofford and husband Larry; son, Michael Watson; grandchildren, Brent Monholland, Christy Huckabee and husband Glenn, Jason Monholland, Damon Givens and wife Michelle, Jeremy Dewoody and wife Paige, Michael Harvey, Mellissa Crofford, Matthew Crofford and Marcus Crofford; 14 great grandchildren; and 7 great great-grandchildren and numerous other loving family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, great-granddaughter, Layken Givens and 2 sisters and 9 brothers. 

Funeral Services are 10:00 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Southern Oaks Pentecostal Church, 6501 S. Walker Ave, Oklahoma City, Ok 73139. Interment will follow to Smith Cemetery, Moore, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
