Donald Leon Quenzer was born on December 22, 1929, in Osborne, Kansas, to Carl & Dorothy Quenzer. He passed away on September 6, 2017, in Moore, OK.

Donald served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was passionate about spending time outdoors camping and traveling. Donald always put others first and was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He had a deep love for his family and especially his grandchildren.

He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Pearl Quenzer, of the home; son, David Quenzer & wife, Judy; daughter, Donna Templeton & husband, Robert; daughter-in-law, Janet Quenzer; grandchildren Gwen Lake, Greg Templeton, Jaime Quenzer, Kelli Knudsen, Laura St. Clair, and Mark Quenzer; great-grandchildren, Tyger & Cougar Lake, Alexis Templeton, Natalie St. Clair, and Cora & Dexter Quenzer; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family and friends. Donald is preceded by his parents; son, Kenny Quenzer; and brother, Clifford Quenzer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at First United Methodist Church, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Norman, OK. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, OK.
