Wayne Ray Pierce of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on May 10, 2022, at the age of 73. Wayne was born in Oklahoma City to Connie B. and Alice. G. Pierce on October 5, 1948.
Wayne founded P&P Supply in 1992. He owned and operated the successful business, eventually handing the reigns over to his son, who operates the business to this day. Wayne was an athletic youngster who grew up playing baseball. Later in life, he began playing softball, and joined a 55 and older league. One of his biggest accomplishments and favorite memories was playing with his team in the USA Softball Senior National Championships. He loved spending time outdoors. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, and frequent trips to the family’s home at Lake Eufaula. More than anything in life, Wayne loved his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Wayne is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cora Pierce; his parents, mother Alice G. (McClain) Pierce, and his father, Connie B. Pierce; and two brothers, Gene Pierce, and Don Pierce.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two sons, Connie Pierce and wife Marcella, and Allen Pierce; four grandchildren, Rikki, Kyle, Dylan, and Mary; and two nephews, Russell Pierce and wife Kathy, and Rick Pierce and wife Deana.
Visitation will be held from 11:00am through 8:30pm on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.
Graveside services will begin at 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Resthaven Memorial Park, located at 500 SW 104th Street in Oklahoma City.
