Wayne Ray Dill

Wayne Ray Dill, 69, of Moore Oklahoma passed on Thursday, April 29, 2021. Wayne was born January 5, 1952 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Leeomi Thompson and George Dill. Wayne married Sherrie Barney on August 1, 1980 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Sherrie Dill of the home; children: Jeni (Mike) Baxter, Leroy (Joanna) Boren, Aimee Merick, Sandy (Robert) DeLisle; grandchildren: Trystin Wallace, Nolan Wallace, Ian Wallace, Macy Boren, Zach Merick, Mark (Breanna) DeLisle, and Dustin DeLisle. He is also survived by a brother Terry Hulen, a sister Teresa King, brothers-in-law Tommy King and Bill Barney, and his favorite sister-in-law Beth Hill. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leeomi and Ray Hulen, his father and mother-in-law Vaughn and Betty Barney, sister and brother-in-law Sandy and Roland VanCleave, and brother-in-law Sid Barney.

Wayne retired in May 2019 having worked hard from his first job until his final job.  He spent many years working for Western Uniform. He met his wife and his friend and mentor, Austin Frampton, there. Wayne loved his family dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
