Twila Kathryn Maloy

Twila Kathryn Maloy of Norman, Oklahoma passed away on October 12, 2021 at the age of 49. She was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Darrel Wayne Maloy and Jessie Louise Rowden on November 18, 1971.

Twila had a big heart, and she was full of love, always finding the positive in everything around her. She was exceptionally funny, tough, and she held the family together with her inner strength. Twila loved to sing, and she was an incredible singer with a beautiful voice. She loved cooking, and her specialties were her famous spaghetti sandwiches and her amazing stew. She was intelligent, always confident in herself and her abilities.

Twila was always thrifty, and she loved finding a good deal when she was out shopping at garage sales and thrift stores. She was highly creative, and she enjoyed making various arts and crafts. Twila was a terrific homemaker, always ensuring that her family and friends were well taken care of. She gave the best hugs in the world, and her home was the kind where the door was always open to anyone who needed a place to go. Twila’s warm and caring heart touched the lives of many, and she will be deeply and forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

Twila is survived by her companion, Jeff; her mother and father, Jessie Grant and Wayne Maloy; her five children, Kristan Maloy, Clint Gray, Kaci Gray, Laci Gray, and Ryan Embry; three grandchildren, Zayne Shores, and Madilyn and Embrey Austin; as well as a host of other loving family members and friends.

Memorial services for Twila will begin at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.
