Tabitha Ann Thomas, of Moore, OK, passed away January 9, 2022, at the age of 38 after a short battle with cancer. Tabitha is survived by her long-time partner, Stacey Mitchell, her three children – Chloe (17), Dillon (11), and Brooklyn (6), and her cat Domino. Also surviving are her parents, Max Thomas (Jan) of Stuart, IA, and Jill Jones (Scott Clayton) of Tuttle, OK, her siblings Joe Erlandson (Angie Davis) of Winterset, IA, Amber Hoskins (Matt) of Story City, IA, Dustin Thomas of Tuttle, OK, Cassie Hamilton (Dan) of Anderson, SC, and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tabitha was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jim and Lorna (Woodson) Thomas, Lester and Norma (Wilcox) Steckelberg, and an unborn child.
Tabitha was born in Guthrie Center, Iowa on October 5, 1983, and attended Cabot High School in Cabot, AR. She attended and was baptized at People’s Church in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed her work as a customer service agent at Southwest Airlines for the last 11 years. Her children and family were the most important thing to her. She loved playing card games, cats, OU and Dallas Cowboys football, music groups Hanson and N Sync, her grandmother’s cheesy hashbrown potatoes recipe, watching gameshows, traveling to Iowa to visit her dad and siblings, and calling her mom at least 5 times a day.
Visitation will be held at Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S Broadway Ave, Moore, OK 73160, on Friday, January 14, 2022, 10am-1pm. Attendees are requested to wear a mask.
Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date in her hometown of Stuart, IA.
