Susan Kay Hill

Susan Kay Hill, of Oklahoma City, passed from this life on September 7, 2023, at the age of 57.  She was born on November 24, 1967, in New Mexico.  Susan was quite the collector, and had many collections including Wizard of Oz memorabilia, Christmas trees, villages, and ornaments. She loved posting funny memes on Facebook. Susan was a very caring and truthful person and was always willing to help in any way she could.  Her first love was her husband, Wayne, and her children - they were her life and she loved them very much and enjoyed spending time with them.  She was an amazing woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Susan is survived by her husband of 33 years, Wayne L. Hill, who she loved and adored; 5 children, Ricky Trousdale, Ashlee Trousdale, Baby Wayne Hill, Jonathan Hill, and Kaelynn Hill; sister, Rhonda Todd; brother, Harrington Rooker; 2 grandchildren, Landon Trousdale and Jaydon Medina; sisters-in-law Penny Cline, Charlotte Menefee, Becky Luk, Bertha Whitley, Jeannie Rostacheck, and Rachel Gates; brothers-in-law Robert Cline, Bowie Luk, Steve Whitley, Mike Rostacheck, and Ronnie Mekush. Susan’s memory will also be treasured by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Pilgrim, and her mother-in-law, Mary Ann Hill. 

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at 6:00 pm, on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
