Steven Craig Gauger

Steven Craig Gauger, 63, passed away on September 10, 2020.  Craig was born on March 6, 1957 in Waurika, Oklahoma to Carl C. Gauger, Sr. and Carmen Goldie (Ingram) Gauger. Craig served our country in the United States Navy where he worked as Boatswain’s Mate 2nd Class. He drove a truck after his time in the military.  Later in life he worked as a janitor.  Craig was a proud OU Sooners Fan as well as a Cincinnati Reds and Dallas Cowboys fan.  He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Craig is survived by his brother Carl Gauger, Jr.; sister, Becky Chenevey and husband Joseph; son, Christopher Gauger, of Port Orchard, WA; daughter, Heather (Gauger) Archut, of Port Orchard, WA; 1 grandson; and 1 granddaughter, both of Port Orchard, WA; and of course his beloved Oklahoma Sooners. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Sr. and Goldie Gauger. Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 from 12-8:30 PM, at the John Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, OK. Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens at Lawton, OK. Services are under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK.
