Steven Allen Corbin

Steven Allen Corbin of Oklahoma City was born on May 2, 1947, in Ada, Oklahoma to E.J. “Mickey” Corbin and Mary Loizos Corbin.  On Sunday, August 1, 2021, Steven passed away at the age of 74 years old in his home with his sister and brother-in-law with him.

Steven gave his life to his job.  Anyone who knew Steven knew he was a perfectionist.  He expected everyone to do his or her job his way.  He treated all the horse shows so they all felt appreciated and special.  Steven worked right up to the end, even with his sickness, as the senior manager of Feed & Bedding for the Oklahoma State Fair.

Steven enjoyed fishing in his free time, as well as spending time with his family at the lake.   Love of family and coworkers was central to his personality, as was his generosity.  Those in his life remember him as generous to a fault with his friends. 

Steven was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Corbin, and his father, Mickey Corbin.  He is survived by his sister, JoAnn West and her husband, Steve; nephew, Stephen West; niece, Nancy Herrig; three great nieces; and three great nephews. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 5th, 2021, at John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, 120 South Broadway Avenue, Moore, Oklahoma.  Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Oklahoma.
