Stella Mae Beck

Stella Mae Beck (Freeman) age 74 was born January 1, 1949, in Bogalusa, Louisiana to the late David Edward Freeman and Luberta Freeman (Brumfield). She departed this life into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 16, 2023. Stella was a long-term member of Second Missionary Baptist Church in Bogalusa, Louisiana, and later joined Apostolic Faith Pentecostal Church in Bogalusa, Louisiana.

She was married to the late Mr. Walter Beck Jr. for 46 years and to this union two children were born Jacqueline Beck of Oklahoma and Todsha Beck of Louisiana.

She leaves to cherish memories of good times and bad times her two daughters Jacqueline Beck and Todsha Beck, her brother James E. Freeman and sister Maudessa (Keith) Beard (Freeman) of Oklahoma; five grandchildren: Destiny and La-Traveen Beck of Oklahoma, Trinity and LaTajdrion Beck of Louisiana and Jazmine Drummond of Oklahoma; Four great-grandchildren: Anasia Beck of Oklahoma, Heaven Beck of Louisiana, Amoni Brown and Da’Lanii Beck of Oklahoma; three godchildren Gary Bickham, Felicia Harrell of Oklahoma and Leneisha Jefferson of Louisiana, Centrail and La-Rue Beck of Georgia, and Karon Stevenson of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her father David E. Freeman, mother Luberta Freeman (Brumfield); brothers David E. Freeman and Luther Freeman; sisters Wilda F. Freeman and Della M. Freeman; and grandson Isaiah Beck Drummond.

There is also left to memories very special friends: Gwendolyn Jefferson, Oneida L. and Justin P. Arnold, Shondra Causey and Emma Levi. Thanks for being a part of my living.
