Sherron K. McConnell

Sherron K. McConnell, 77 of Moore, passed away on May 11th, 2023. Sherron was born in Sallisaw OK on December 28th, 1945, to Wadie and Emma Gean Cherry. Sherron worked at the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission for 25 years, retiring on August 1st, 2007. Sherron attended the Living Faith church with Pastors Jimmy and Barbara Milligan.

Sherron is survived by her loving children; son Carl McConnell, daughter Rochelle Respicio and husband Franky Respicio; sister Freda (Gale) Maiorano; grandchildren Kyle Respicio, Montana Blevins and husband Brad Blevins, and Spencer Respicio; a great-grandchild, Denver Blevins, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Sherron’s hobbies: playing sports such as basketball, softball, and beating Russell Beachler at cornhole, and schooling Larry White at pool, she was grateful for both when she needed their help. Sherron liked sitting outside reading, listening to the birds and feeding the rabbits that lived under her shed. She loved her children and doggie Tinker Bell very much.

Sherron loved having family holidays and cookouts and playing card games. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Memorial services for Sherron will begin at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday June 3rd, 2023, at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.
