Shannon Renee Becerra

Shannon Renee Becerra, 38, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma was brought to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 2, 2021. She was born on October, 7, 1982, to Guadalupe Becerra, Sr. and Terri Becerra (nee Merrick).

She attended Capitol Hill High School. Shannon enjoyed listening to country and rock and roll music, as well as watching TV, especially crime shows. She collected dolphins and often wore clothing with dolphin print. Shannon enjoyed going to the casino with her mom, getting her hair and nails done, as well as camping with her family. She loved going to Rock Creek Camp Ground at Chickasaw National Park and enjoyed standing in the water, regardless if it was hot or cold outside. Shannon was very outgoing and caring; she always wanted to take care of her little brother. She was the life of the party, who had a kind, loving, and giving heart. Her first love was drawing and coloring with her daughter, Maribel, and hanging out with her nieces and nephews. Shannon touched the hearts of many and will be missed by all who knew her. Maribel said her mom was a crazy wild child who had a zest for life. Shannon was a loving daughter, mother, sister, and aunt.

Shannon is preceded in death by her mother, Terri Becerra. She is survived by her father, Guadalupe Becerra, Sr.; her daughter, Maribel Becerra; and her brothers, Guadalupe Becerra, Jr. (Misty) and Cory Becerra.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at John M. Ireland and Son Funeral Home and Chapel (120 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, OK 73160).

Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
