Scott David Williams of Oklahoma City, passed away on April 5, 2021, at the age of 35. He was born November 11, 1985, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Steve Allen & Lydia Alice (Merkle) Williams.
Scott graduated from Edmond North High School, Class of 2004. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 6 years as an Aircraft Armament Systems Technician and received an Honorable Discharge as Senior Airman for services rendered to his country. He then went to the University of Oklahoma and graduated in May of 2017 and received a degree in Geology. Scott worked for Chesapeake as a Lab Technician, which was a fitting field due to his vast love of natural rock formations and deep-rooted hatred for healing crystals. He enjoyed many of the natural things in life, the outdoors, as simple as playing in the yard with Murphy to wandering the woods to find the perfect rock. Scott’s deepest passion next to his family was for “Wondrous Shit Boxes!” His pride and joy being a 1984 El Camino, which he was in the process of restoring, He loved to ride motorcycles and being surrounded by close friends. His first love was his daughter, Murphy, who was literally his world and the light of his life.
Scott is survived by his wife of 3 years, Nicole Williams, of the home; his daughter, Murphy, of the home; mother, Lydia Williams, of Moore; brother, Phillip Williams & wife, Tiffany Kersey-Williams, of Edmond; sister, Stephanie Williams & wife, Danielle, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; 5 nieces; 5 nephews; and numerous other loving family members and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Steve Allen Williams; grandparents, Darrell & Betty Williams, and James & Alpha Merkle.
Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
