Scott Rayborne Lindsay, of Noble, Oklahoma, passed away May 5, 2021, at the age of 40 years. He was born on July 28, 1980, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Scott attended Wickline United Methodist Church. Scott attended Midwest City High School and was a member of the graduating Class of 1998. He played baseball for Midwest City and was in the school Show Choir. Scott heard his country’s call and served in the United States Marine Corps where he received an Honorable Discharge for services rendered to his country when called upon to do so. He was an avid fan of the Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma City Thunder, as well as the Kansas City Chiefs. Scott enjoyed watching Family Feud, Pawn Stars, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and WWE Wrestling. He would always want to give his mother a hug if she had a bad day. Scott was very close to his Uncle Doug who he had lived with. He was the son that his Uncle Doug never had. Scott was very close to his sister, Katie, and despite their age difference, considered her his best friend. Scott was a kind and loving person with a warm and gentle heart. He was a loving son, brother, nephew and cousin. Scott was a shining example to many for his courage to never give up, despite his health disabilities. He will be missed and forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Scott is survived by his mother, Sandi Jones & husband, Ken; his father, Bruce Lindsay; sister, Katharine Jones; uncle, Doug Lindsay; grandfather, Terry Reynolds & wife Carolyn; Hershel Conrad & wife, Debbie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Thursday, May 13th and from 9:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Friday, May 14th at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
