Rosella Doris Keely

Rosella Doris Keely, of Oklahoma City, passed away January 5, 2021, at the age of 94.  She was born December 19, 1926, in Asher, Oklahoma, to Arra Homer & Ollie Ermie (Adams) Shelton.  Rosella was an avid collector of dolls. 

She is survived by her daughter Linda Sue Hobson & husband, Eric Berg; 7 grandchildren, Cynthia Lynn "Angel" Stapleton, Jeffery A. Waffle, Micah G. Hobson, Robert Waffle, Kenneth D. Waffle, Erica R. Berg, and Alaura M. Berg; 10 great-grandchildren, Ty A. Hobson, Dalton R. Hobson, Waylon O. Hobson, Joshalen Waffle, Emily Waffle, Kenneth “Bubba” Waffle, Dalton Waffle, Jordan P. Weston, Liam J. Weston, and Alexis C. Hammer; brother, Gordon Arra Shelton & wife, Melissa; and Cherry Oleta Stark sisters, Eunice Nadine Shelton; sister-in-law, Linda Shelton; and many nieces and nephews. 

Rosella is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Ollie Loucinda Davis; sons, Moses Runningwolf and Dana Gale Rose; 5 grandchildren, Brandon Ray Hobson, Jodi Allen, Hobson, Travis Lee Hobson, Corey Waffle, and Anastasia Gail Runningwolf; brothers, Kenneth Alfred Shelton and James Darrell “Bear” Shelton; sister, Bobbie Lou Drone; brothers-in-law, William “Bill” Stark and Thomas Drone; and sister-in-law, Louise Shelton; caretaker and friend, Barbara Johnson. 

Visitation for Rosella will be held from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Saturday, January 9, 2021, and from 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Sunday, January 10, 2021, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. 

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, January 11, 2021, at Resthaven Memory Gardens, located at SW 104th & Walker, in Oklahoma City.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel. 

The family would like to thank the entire management and staff from top to bottom at Traditions Health Hospice for all of their loving care and support. You have become family.  Your compassion and excellent care were far more than this family could have ever asked for.  Thank you for all that you did for mom and for us!!
