Rose Mary (Lujan) Soliz

Rose Mary Soliz, age 81, passed away Thursday, April 29, 2021. She was born on April 12, 1940 in Ballinger, TX to Manuel and Pascuala Lujan. She was married to Edmund Soliz and they would have celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary in June of this year. She was a beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She enjoyed going dancing, watching stories (soap operas), going shopping and spending time with her family and friends. She was always the one who gathered the family, especially for her home cooked meals. She had a heart of gold and a smile that would brighten the lives of all who saw it! She loved

and cared for her family in so many ways and will be remembered for her love and kindness.

She is survived by her husband, Edmund; children, Gilbert & his wife Shelly, Mike & his wife Sandra, Leonard & his wife Luz, and Gena Lujan (whom she raised); grandchildren, Mariah, Nicholaus, Victor, Dalton, Sylvia, Alejandro, and Santiago;  great-grandchildren, Carter, Cash, and Ella; and siblings, Nellie Dominguez & her husband Arturo, Mary De Leon & her husband Lito, and Tony Lujan & his wife Donna.

Rose Mary was predeceased by her parents, Manuel and Pascuala Lujan, her infant son, Michael Anthony Soliz, and her great-granddaughter, Savannah Grace Stone.

Visitation: Sunday, May 2nd from 3pm – 8pm at John Ireland, 120 S. Broadway Ave., Moore

Rosary: Monday, May 3rd at 6:30pm at John Ireland, 120 S. Broadway Ave., Moore

Funeral Mass: Tuesday May 4th at 10am at St. James Catholic Church, 4201 S. McKinley, OKC

Burial, immediately following Funeral Mass, at Resthaven Cemetery, 500 SW 104th St., OKC
