Ronda McDaniel Obituary

Ronda Gale McDaniel, 64 of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma gained her angel wings on, January 5, 2021 after her hard-fought battle with cancer, with her true love by her side.

Ronda was born to Billie Joe and Pansy Lou Burrows, July 26, 1956 in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma.  She attended Western Heights High School where she met the man of her dreams.

She was married to Terry Linn McDaniel on May 30, 1975 and again on March 10, 2000.  She loved Terry so much that she was willing to marry him a second time.  In total the two were married for 41 years.

She was survived in death by her loving husband Terry Linn McDaniel of Oklahoma City, her three daughters and their spouses: Crystal Ann and Charles Williams Sr. of Oklahoma City, Ok, Amanda Linn and Ron Milligan of Newalla, OK, and Katrina Kaye and Joshua Largent of Ennis, TX.  Her 9 grandchildren which she loved beyond measure; they were truly the light of her life.  Listed in order from oldest to youngest:  Shelby Nicole Williams, Michell Bradley Walker, Brittany Gean Lehenbauer, Charles Bradley Williams Jr, Dakota Ray Mize, Mattalinn Elizabeth Mize, Emma Elizabeth Largent, Kaylinn Grace Largent, and Jacob Clayton Largent.  She was also survived by her loving siblings Jo Ann Haynes of Oklahoma City, Brenda Hicks of Oklahoma City, Glenda Hick of Moore, Randy Burrows and Larry Burrows of Pauls Valley, countless number of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many others that she considered family.

In death she was proceeded by her parents, Billie Joe and Pansy Lou Burrows, two of her brothers; Gary Burrows and Curtis Burrows. Ronda was also proceeded in death by her beloved in-laws Johnny and Jauanita McDaniel, a sister-in-law Brenda Deason and brother-in-law Deward Haynes.  Also, her two unborn grandchildren and her four legged fur babies Izzy and Buck.

Ronda Loved her children and grandchildren more than words could describe. Ronda was “Mom or Nanny” to everyone that walked thru her door. She made them feel loved and welcomed regardless. They always walked away with a full stomach and knowing that they had someone on their side and a place to go if they needed it. She was always making baked goods for her kids, grandkids, and anyone that she thought need it and they would even fight over who got the first batch of cinnamon rolls.  Ronda gained her love of baking while working for Moore Public Schools as a pastry chef.  She never met a stranger; she would share her life with anyone that would give her half a second of their time, often they would end up hearing the same story more than once!  She loved taking care of people, when she had someone to care for all the problems in the world would be pushed to the side.  There were not many things in life that Ronda hated but one sure thing she hated was when people spelled her name with an “H”.  Her hobbies besides baking sweets, was reading mushy gushy romantic novels, crochet things for other people, and taking her girls shopping with Terry’s credit card.  I think everyone that had ever had the chance to meet Ronda knew exactly what she loved the most, her grandbabies.
