Ronald Wayne “Ron” Stevenson, of Oklahoma City, passed away on March 23, 2021, at the age of 62. He was born on August 7, 1958, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Ron graduated from Del City High School, Class of 1976. He was extremely talented and was a corporate trainer for Hibdon Tires. Ron was a hard worker and a perfectionist when it came to his career. He enjoyed snow skiing, hunting, fishing, boating, water skiing, and riding motorcycles. He was a huge fan of Blues music and R & B and he loved to dance. He loved hanging out with Shawn – they had the best time laughing, cutting up, and cooking out together. Ron was a great cook and loved barbequing on the grill. He loved working in the yard and he kept his lawn looking like a golf course. Ron had a kind, compassionate, and caring heart and loved helping others, especially his neighbors, and they adored him. He was an amazing man and will be deeply missed and forever in the hearts of those who he loved as well as those who loved him.
Ron is survived by his brother, Shawn Stevenson & wife, Lila, of Moore; 2 sisters, Brenda Lindsey & husband, Joe, of Oklahoma City, and Terri Holland, of Oklahoma City; 3 nieces and 2 nephews, Erin Olson, of Moore, Chris Stevenson & wife, Alecia, of Moore, Josh Stevenson, of Moore, Stephanne Howery, of Moore, and Courtney Holland, of Oklahoma City; great-nephew, Caden Cooper, of Oklahoma City; former wife and friend, Pam Stevenson and her son, Eric McClendon, both of Oklahoma City.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Ross Stevenson; his mother, Janice Gale (McDaniel) Hall; and father, Jerry G. Hall.
Services to celebrate Ron’s life will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
