Rita Harrison Obituary

Harrison, Rita age 70 passed away on Friday April 30, 2021.  Rita was born in Oklahoma City on September 13, 1950, to Cecil and Ann Cobble.  She is survived by a daughter Shannon and husband Lance Chilton of Calumet, son Allen and wife Jeri Thornhill of Chickasha, a son Albert and wife Kathy of Okarche, a daughter Heather Williams and grandson Jaden Sweeney of Oklahoma City, a daughter Jennifer and wife Melissa Williams of Arcadia, a daughter Marie Williams of Wetumka.  She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, also by aunts, uncles, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) Harrison, her father Cecil Cobble, mother Ann Calvert, sister Betty Tate, two brothers Earl and Dale Cobble, and a niece and a nephew. She loved Turner Classic Movies and Heartland.  She loved spending time with family and friends.  She loved her three dogs as much as  anything Dog, Miss Priss, and Chanelle. She also loved listening to music, like Tupac, Adele, Eddie Murphy and older Country Music.  Her most favorite thing she loved was going truck driving as many times as she could.  Her favorite foods included Mexican, Chinese, Ribs, and Steak.  The funeral will be Friday May 7, 2021 at John Ireland funeral home at 10 am,  and graveside services will be at Ft. Sill National Cemetery following the funeral.
