Rickey Dean Bailey, of Oklahoma City, passed away December 30, 2020, at the age of 53. He was born November 2, 1967, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Robert Lee & Ruby Ann (Garner) Bailey. Rickey enjoyed fishing, camping, and going to the lake. He enjoyed fixing things and was a handy-man at heart. Rickey was a huge fan of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Oklahoma Sooners. He enjoyed watching westerns, especially Gunsmoke, Bonanza, and Rifleman. Rickey also enjoyed watching Gordon Ramsay’s cooking shows, MasterChef, Hell’s Kitchen, and Kitchen Nightmares. He enjoyed listening to music and he enjoyed playing the guitar. Rickey was employed at Clements Food in the warehouse. He medically retired due to colon cancer. Rickey was funny, silly, and over-protective. He was soft-spoken and had a kind, loving, and giving heart. Rickey was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time and money on his daughters. He enjoyed taking them shopping. Rickey was a loving father, brother, nephew, and friend. His first love was his Lord and Savior and spending time with his daughters and his family. Rickey is survived by 3 daughters, Deborah Jordan-Bryant, Ruby Bailey, and Kloey Bailey; and 2 brothers, Robert Bailey, Jr., and Rondell Bailey. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Ruby Bailey; and brother, Rustin Bailey. Arrangements provided by the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
