Richard Andrew Sullivan was born at home on August 22, 1962, in Falls City, Oregon to Robert Andrew and Bobbie Jane Sullivan. He was the eighth of nine children. He went to school in Mountain Park until his sophomore year when they moved to Mountain View, where he graduated in 1981. He married Nita Brown in 1983. He was a welder by trade. He worked at Barrett trailers as Shop Superintendent for 19 years.
In 2000, Richard began hauling antique cars cross-country. Some of those trips included time on the road with his son, Justin, his daughter, Amy, his wife, Nita, and brother-in-law Jimmy Coalson. In 2002, he and his brother, Gary Dean, formed Sullivan Welding. He continued to be a welder until his health declined in 2020.
Richard is survived by wife, Nita of the home, his children Misha and husband Rocky Mayberry, Justin and wife Kyndell Sullivan, Amy and husband David Jones, and daughter of his heart, Lindsey Coffman; eight grandchildren, Tarren Rone, Ethan Rone, Caitlyn Grace Sullivan, Kelsey Mayberry, Seth Andrew Sullivan, Addison Jones, Alyssa Jones, and Kashin Sullivan; siblings, Robert Sullivan, Gay and husband Roy Harrell, Kay Mallett, George and wife Sheran Sullivan, Judy and husband Lawrence Ferris, Tina Sue and husband Bill Coffelt, Andra and husband Jim Coalson, Gary and wife Deborah Sullivan. He is also survived by Raymond and Debbie Brown, Doyle and Belinda Brown, Tina and Harrell Hearn, Rana and Kent Steeds and many, many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Robert Andrew Sullivan, his mother, Bobbie Jane Sullivan, sister-in-law Janie Sullivan, sister-in-law Naoma Brown, fur baby Sandy Mae, and fur baby Blu.
