Perry Smith Obituary

Perry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was an outdoorsman who could fix just about anything. He was actually in the process of building a lake house by Lake Eufaula. He and his wife, Shelly, enjoyed taking little trips to the lake where they would participate in water sports and camping. He loved traveling; however, he couldn’t wait to get home. He was an Oklahoma Sooners fan. When he wasn’t watching football, he enjoyed watching car and hotrod shows. He also loved to watch Netflix and TikTok videos.

Perry was a member of the graduating class of 1976 at US Grant High School. After high school, he became a mechanic by trade. He had been employed at Napa Auto Parts stores and retired after 26 years of service. He married his beautiful wife, Shelly, on April 26, 2003.

Perry was a very honest person. You always knew where he stood on things. He had a small group of friends that he was very close to. Perry was a Christian and was a member of West Moore Community church, where he was saved.

Perry was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend. Perrys first love was his Lord and Savior, and being with his wife shelly, to who he was married to for 18 years. He loved spending time with his children, family, and friends.

Perry is survived by his wife Shelly; his son Andy Smith (Jennifer); His daughters Brandy Hammett (Christopher), Sierra Sampson, and Savanna Smith; his sister Tammy Gasaway (Randy); and his grandson Wyatt.
