Paul E. Knapp

Paul E. Knapp, 87 years of age, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, April 29, 2022. Paul was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he lived until 1971 when he and his wife Ella Louise moved to Edgewood, Kentucky. Paul confirmed his Christianity at the age of 14 and lived his life serving in the Lord. He has been a member of Latonia Baptist Church since 1971 and an Ordained Deacon. Paul was active in Revivals where he led music and sang solos. He graduated from Oklahoma City University where he was part of the Christian Music Ministry. Paul enjoyed golfing and singing with the Sanity Singers. He owned and operated his Home Improvement business and was a Home Inspector for many years. For the last nine years he served as the Senior Funeral Ambassador for Floral Hills Funeral Home. 

Paul is survived by his wife of 65 years Ella Louise Knapp. Paul is also survived by many extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his daughter Beverly Louise Knapp, parents James and Maria Knapp and parent-in-laws Carl and Maudie Swann. 

A Visitation will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home, Taylor Mill, Kentucky on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 5 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 7 p.m. 

A second Visitation will be held at Resthaven Cemetery Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. Interment will immediately follow the second Visitation in Resthaven Cemetery.
