Patricia Louise Thornhill

Patricia Louise Thornhill was born in Oilton, OK. On August 15, 1931 and passed away on March 26, 2021. She was 89 years young. Louise married Albert Thornhill on July 18, 1947 and they celebrated 62 years together. Together, Louise and Albert raised three sets of children, their two children Christine Jones and Albert Thornhill; their three grandchildren Shannon Chilton, Allen Thornhill and Albert Thornhill Junior; as well as their three great-grandchildren, Mathew Evans, Kayla Evans and Danny Davidson.

Louise worked as a Registered Dietitian for most of her adult life. She ran the Sunset Estates Nursing home in El Reno, Ok and in Watonga, Ok. She also surpervised the kitchen at El Reno Hospital for many years. Prior to becoming a dietician, she ran a Dairy Queen in Oklahoma City, Ok. She and her mother also owned and managed a café in Drumwright, Ok.

 Louise is survived by 2 children, Christine Elizabeth Jones and Albert Lee Thornhill; 7 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 12 great -great grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Louise is preceded in death by her husband Albert Thornhill; parents, Oscar Lee Nixon and Susan (Bessie) Elizabeth Nixon, brothers Robert Nixon, James (JC) Nixon and Billie Nixon as well as 1 great-great grandchild Jerimiah Chancellor.

 A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at John Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel, 120 S. Broadway, Moore, Ok. Interment to follow at Drumwright North Cemetery, Drumwright, Ok. Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, OK.
