Pamela Jane Garis

GARIS, Pamela Jane, 69, of Yukon Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Oct 6, 2020 in Oklahoma City.

Pamela was born in Ohio to Claude Anthony “Tony” and Janie Novella Underwood on August 14th, 1951.  She went to high school at Northwest Classen in Oklahoma City and attended college at Southwestern Oklahoma State University.  She married Lonnie Leigh Garis on February 17th, 1978 in Oklahoma City Oklahoma. She will forever be a beloved wife to her husband and cherished mother to her children. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, sewing, baking, and OU football.

Pamela is preceded in death by her father Claude Anthony “Tony” Underwood, her mother Janie Novella Underwood, her brother Anthony Paul Underwood, her sister Claudia Ann Schoshke. 

Pamela is survived by her husband Lonnie Garis of Yukon, her children and their spouses, Nicholas (Marion) Hodge of Yukon, Marci (James) Patterson of OKC, Sean (Laurie) Garis of Yukon, Loni (TJ) Everett of Moore, her 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Pamela’s memorial service will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, October 24th at Victory Family Newcastle 112 NE 2nd St. Newcastle, OK 73065.
