Pamela Sue Ellis passed away on October 5th in Del City at the age of 67. She will be forever remembered as a loving mother to Heather, Jennifer, Holly and Connie, and grandmother to her ten grandchildren, as well as, a loyal sister and wife.
Pam was diagnosed with early stages of dementia and then fought complications from COPD, which made her very ill.
It’s the memories of life before the illnesses that Pam’s daughters cherish the most. She was an amazing cook. They say she made the best chicken fried steak and also loved her fried potatoes. Her daughter Heather recalls oatmeal and cinnamon toast on cold winter mornings before catching the school bus. And not only was Pam a great cook she had dashing style. She dressed the four girls with the cutest outfits and made sure their hair had matching ribbons. Their family albums are filled with the proof throughout their childhood.
Pam went all out for holidays, especially Christmas, making sure the tree was gorgeous from top to bottom. She loved watching her grandchildren open piles of gifts on Christmas Eve during large family celebrations.
Pam didn’t get the chance to participate as actively as she had hoped in the lives of her grandchildren because of the illnesses, but her memory will live on through the stories told.
As mentioned, Pam is survived by her children, Heather Ellis, Jennifer Bombardiere and husband Tony, Holly Ellis, Connie Ellis-Lamberson and husband David; 10 grandchildren, Wesley Monroe & wife, Brooke, Devin and Hannah Ramirez, Charlie Ellis, Ashlynn and Madison Bombardiere, Kylon and Keegan Burgert, Jack and Khloe Lamberson; 2 great grandchildren, Silas Monroe, Luca Bombardiere and a third on the way; 4 siblings, Sherry Richardson, Linda Brecheen Manuel and husband Dexter, Laura Brecheen, Kenny Brecheen and wife Becky; former husband Bill Ellis.
