Nicholas O'Neal Bickham

Nicholas O’Neal Bickham of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on June 13, 2022, at the age of 25. Nicholas was born in Norman on September 16, 1996, the son of Gary F. Bickham and Elizabeth (Beth) K. Summers. He attended Norman North High School, graduating with the Class of 2015. He worked for Norman Regional Hospital for a number of years, and most recently, worked for Global Transport.

Nicholas loved sports, and while he was growing up, he was quite active. He played basketball, football, and practiced MMA. He enjoyed living a healthy lifestyle and liked working out often and staying fit. He shared a love of OU sports with his mom, Beth. He also loved keeping up with the Philadelphia Eagles, Thunder basketball, and knew the stats of many teams. Nicholas loved exploring new places and ideas, and he enjoyed spending as much time with his friends and family as possible. He was fun, sweet, and adventurous. He loved traveling to and exploring new destinations, and he loved food, always wanting to try different things. His faith was important to him as well, and he always had a close relationship with his Lord and Savior. Nicholas’ kind heart and his fun-loving spirit touched the hearts of many during his time on Earth, and he will be deeply and forever missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lorraine and Kenneth Summers, his paternal grandmother, Della Freeman, his uncle Carl, and aunts Mary, Kathy, and Gwen.

Left behind to treasure his memory are his father, Gary Bickham, his mother, Beth Summers, one brother, Danté Bickham, his grandfather, Carl Bickham Sr., and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
