McKinley Ryver Obituary

McKinkley McKayla R. Ryver of Norman, Oklahoma, passed away from this life following a tragic accident that took her from this world far too soon. She was 42 years old. She was born Stephanie Finley in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, on September 9, 1981, to Steven Wayne Finley and Donna Kelsey Smith.

McKinley grew up in Moore, Oklahoma and attended Moore High School, where she later worked as a substitute teacher. She had various professional interests throughout her working career and had explored cosmetology, was a Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA), a certified Doula, and she had just begun her career in the trucking industry, recently earning her CDL license and fulfilling her longtime dream of becoming a truck driver.

McKinley absolutely loved semi-trucks, motorcycles, and highly enjoyed her new job on the road. Always up for an adventure, she loved being outdoors and enjoyed camping as often as possible. She also enjoyed crafting, sewing, and making art, dancing and listening to music, and she had a soft spot for pretty much any animal she ever encountered. More than anything, McKinley adored her family, and especially cherished her children and her granddaughter. She will be forever missed.

She is preceded in death by her father, Steven W. Finley; grandfather, James Foughty, and paternal grandparents, Bob and Norma Finley; an aunt, and two uncles, as well as her step-grandpa, Howard D. Robertson.

Left to treasure her memory are her children: Anthony, Donovan, Jubilee and her boyfriend Billy Howard, Jaydenn, Dominic, Zachary, Rhilley, Demetry, Kaiayha, John, and Renasamay; one granddaughter, Donna; her mother, Donna K. Smith and her significant other, Ellis Jones; two brothers, Austin Finley and his wife Marissa, and their children Gabriel, and Chloe, and Bobby Finley and his children Trey, and Hunter. McKinley is also survived by her grandmother, Kay Robertson, in addition to many other loving family and dear friends.
