Mary Jane Gorrell

Mary Jane Gorrell of Oklahoma City, passed away September 20, 2020 at the age of 90. Mary was born November 3, 1929. Mary was an active member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, and was involved in many organizations within the church. Her hobbies included cross stitching and crocheting; Mary won 1st place at the state fair for cross stitching. Mary enjoyed genealogy, painting, and spending time with her dog Prissy. She enjoyed travelling, especially to the Holy Land. Mary enjoyed spending time with her loved ones. Mary is survived three grandchildren; H. Elizabeth Weed, Skyler Hutcheson and wife, Raven and, Katelyn Cordray and husband Jesse; Nine great grandchildren; Makenzie Weed, Chaz Weed, Emma Hutcheson, Zech Hutcheson, Sawyer Hutcheson, Meryk Davenport, Lynnox Cordray, Charlotte Cordray, Shelby Cordray, and one on the way.  Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Larry G. Gorrell; son, William Gorrell; daughter, Nancy Lowery; great-grandson, Jesse Cordray Jr.; and grandson in law Joshua Weed.  Visitation for Mary will be held from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thursday, September 24th at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, OK.  A Rosary will be at 6:00 PM, Thursday evening, September 24th at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 800 NW 5th Street, in Moore, OK.  Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 25, 2020 at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, in OKC, OK.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
