Margaret "Bobbie" Hosey

Margaret Delcina Hosey 87, known to many as Bobbie of Oklahoma City, OK passed away on May 6, 2021. She was born on January 11, 1934 to Gilbert and Eula Taylor. She grew up in Mead, OK. She played basketball in high school. After high school, she moved to Oklahoma City and married Floyd Leroy Caskey in 1953.

She and her husband moved to California for several years before moving back to Oklahoma City. They had four children. He passed away in 1963. Years later, she met and married Ewell Mark Hosey. 

Margaret loved her family and enjoyed having family gatherings. Her home was always full of love and laughter. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing and making quilts.

Margaret was a Member and Treasurer of the Greater Oklahoma Bluegrass Society. She loved going to bluegrass festivals and making friends with everyone.  She loved the lord and loved listening to Gospel music.

She was a wonderful, loving person and was kind and friendly to everyone. She would do anything for anyone.

She is survived by her 4 Children and their spouses: Marvin & Kathy Caskey, Floyd Dwayne & Brenda Caskey, Barbara & Bob Speaks, and Gary & Trenda Caskey. She was blessed with 16 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by her sister Lashell Dotson.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at John Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel. Interment to follow at Box Cemetery, Lexington, Oklahoma.  Services are under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home Chapel, Moore, Oklahoma.
