Malinda Sue Hicks of Oklahoma City passed away September 23, 2020 at the age of 73. She was born September 20, 1947 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Johnny Coy & Elzora Martha (Standlee) Kelley. Malinda was a church secretary and was a dispatcher for Sooner Delivery. She enjoyed family gatherings and watching TV, especially “Days of Our Lives.” Malinda was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She loved her grandchildren passionately and they called her “G-Ma” and her great-grandchildren called her “Grandma.” She was a very loving person and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Malinda is survived by 2 daughters, Rachelle Goodwin and Sheila Watt & husband, Glenn; 7 grandchildren, Jake Goodwin, Bryce Goodwin, Christopher Powell, LaDonna Powell, Brent Evans, Chrystal Beagle, and Melanie Inabnit; 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny & Elzora Kelley; her beloved husband, Billy Hicks; daughter, Ragena Inabnit; granddaughter, Brandy Inabnit; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Friday, September 25, 2020 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home. Funeral services for Malinda will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, September 26, 2020 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Interment to follow at Moore Cemetery, in Moore, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
