Loretta June Sowers

Loretta June Sowers of Tuttle, Oklahoma, passed away on October 12, 2021 at the age of 78. June was born in Oklahoma City to George and Eileen Snow (Four) on November 16, 1942.

June loved her family, especially spending time with her husband, Rick, her loving husband of thirty-three years. June loved trucking with her husband. Rick and June spent a lot of time together and got along wonderfully. She was a woman of faith who was devoted to God, and she loved going to church every week. June loved to crochet, and she enjoyed mowing the yard. June’s warm, loving presence touched the lives of many, and she will be forever remembered by all those who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Eileen and George Snow, as well as three brothers, and three sisters.

June is survived by her beloved husband, Rick Sowers; her children, daughters Jamie Sanford and Tamera Sowers, and sons Douglas Pickelsimer, Dennis Pickelsimer, Ricky Sowers, and Jason Williams; eight grandchildren; a sister, Joyce Snow; and a host of great-grandchildren.

Graveside services for June will begin at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Evergreen Cemetery in Minco, Oklahoma.
