Linda Gail Mitchell Perez

Linda was born on October 27, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Roy W. Snow Sr. and Mattie L. Yates Snow and grew her wings to begin her life in Heaven on January 7, 2022.

As a child, Linda attended Oklahoma City public schools and later also attended Oklahoma City Community College. She was a talented floral designer for many years. She also spent time working in the long-term care and customer service industries.

Linda’s two sons, Robby, and Brandon, whom she shared with her first husband, Keith, were truly the joy and lights of her life. For many years, it was just Linda and her boys before they started families of their own. On March 18, 2016, Linda married Marcos Perez in Lawton, Oklahoma. Together they resided in south Oklahoma City and Moore with their treasured fur-babies, Murphy, and Raton, who loved her and protected her fiercely.

Linda was quite the movie aficionado. She liked to indulge in ice cream floats, Peach Bellini slushes from Sonic, and her non-coffee “coffee” from Starbucks. She enjoyed growing herbs in the bricked garden that Marcos built for her. She would peruse Facebook and the internet for delicious sounding recipes and forward them via Messenger with the recommendation, “Let’s make this!”. Linda loved the beauty of Talihina, Oklahoma and Talimena Drive in and around the Ouachita National Forest in Southeastern Oklahoma.

Linda was full of life and maintained a positive outlook when faced with adversity especially her cancer diagnosis and subsequent battle. She always took pleasure in time spent with family and friends. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, sparkling blue eyes, and her bubbly personality. We will miss her intensely until the day we are reunited.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and infant twin siblings, Claude, and Claudette Snow. She is survived by her husband, Marcos; one brother, Roy W. Snow Jr., Newcastle, OK; one sister, Anita Rollman (Jim), Oklahoma City, Ok; her sons, Robby Mitchell (Katie), Hurst, TX; Brandon Mitchell (Summer), Moore, OK; four grandchildren, Christnia Sky Mitchell, Corbin Barnett, Nico Mitchell, Izabella Mitchell; three great-grandchildren, Emily Purdue, Ophelia Perdue, and Theodore Barnett; numerous other family members and friends; and of course, Murphy and Raton, her beloved fur-babies.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of the Integris Cancer Institute, Integris Palliative Care, and Integris Hospice for the compassionate care provided for Linda.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Station at Central Park, 700 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, OK, on Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.
