Linda Lou (Ellenburg) Emmons

Linda Lou (Ellenburg) Emmons was born October 14, 1948 in Oklahoma City to John Augusta and Irene  Elizabeth (Snyder) Ellenburg. She passed away November 12th, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 72. 

Linda retired from the State of Oklahoma after working 35 years serving the public. She loved to be  around family and enjoyed the outdoors. Her church family was so very important to her. She served  and loved the lord with all her heart and prayed for others all the time. 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband Alvin Emmons; siblings, Edwin Ellenburg,  Johnny Ray Ellenburg Sr., Kenneth Ellenburg Sr., Bobby Ellenburg and Betty Jones-Bessen. She is  survived by her daughter Denise, grandchildren Rayna, Anthony, Ryan and Alisha, along with many  nieces, nephews and friends. 

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at Portland Avenue Baptist Church,  1301 N. Portland Ave., Oklahoma City, OK and the Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in OKC, OK.  Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 PM Thursday and 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Friday November 19th and 20th at John Ireland Funeral Home, 120 S Broadway, Moore, OK  73160. Arrangements are under the direction of John Ireland Funeral Home, Moore Ok.
