Linda Gail Beach of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 70. Linda was born in Bristow, Oklahoma, on November 19, 1951, to Arthur Thomas Threlkeld and Joann (Johnson) Threlkeld.
Linda was a kind and compassionate person who loved animals and enjoyed helping others. She had a special bond with both of her sisters, who fondly remember Linda teaching them how to fish for crawdads when they were younger. Growing up attending many church camps, Linda highly enjoyed outdoor activities like camping and fishing. She loved tent camping, and even after the family got their own RV, they still liked to put up tents for the full camping experience.
Her family, and especially her grandson, were the absolute joy of her life. She enjoyed a variety of hobbies like playing games on the computer, and making jewelry and beaded art. Once she got her electric wheelchair, she had much more freedom, and happily traveled everywhere- fast. She had an endearing stubborn streak, and often enjoyed food without a care in the world about her blood sugar levels. Linda always lived her life happily, and to the fullest. Her kindness, generosity, and zest for life touched the hearts of many, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Joann Threlkeld, one sister, Patricia Threlkeld, and her maternal and paternal grandparents, along with many loving aunts and uncles.
Linda is survived by her son, James Threlkeld and his wife, Adeva, a grandson, Reily, two sisters, Vicki Wilson and her husband, Mike, and Sandra Terhune and her husband, Tom, along with two nieces, Lindsey Lemly, and Kourtney Terhune, a nephew, Jared Wilson, two great-nieces, Morgan Wilson, Emery Wilson, and many loving cousins, extended family, and friends.
