Laura Gayle Jimenez

Laura Gayle Jimenez of Newalla, Oklahoma passed from this life far too soon on September 19, 2021 at the age of 34 years-old. Laura was born in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Ronnie Dale Carr and Sheila Ann Carr (formerly Boyd) on January 21, 1987. Laura attended Grant High School, as well as Platt College where she studied Nursing. Laura was a member of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Oklahoma City.

Laura was a wonderful homemaker for her family who enjoyed her family time and taking care of her children. She was an incredibly loving, caring, and selfless person. Laura loved to laugh, and her laugh was so contagious it could make a stranger burst into a fit of giggles. She was a planner, and always the life of the party. Laura loved any opportunity she had to plan get-togethers, holiday and birthday parties, camping trips, and family cookouts.

She enjoyed cooking, reading, drawing, and playing all kids of video games. She also loved crafting, and was highly creative with her works of art. She loved rooting for OSU on game days, and she adored reality TV, and she often watched Floribama Shore, 90 Day Fiancé, Jersey Shore, Darcy & Stacy, and Keeping Up With The Kardashians. She loved movie nights with her family, and Forrest Gump, The Notebook, The Lovely Bones, and any Disney or Tim Burton movie were a few of her favorites. Laura was a devoted mom, wife, sister, friend, and much more to those she impacted in her life. She will be deeply and forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

Laura is survived by her loving husband, Guillermo Jimenez and her beloved children, Yulisa and Sofia, as well as a host of caring family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.

Services for Laura will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the Lynlee Mae Chapel, located at 507 E. Main Street in Moore, Oklahoma.
