Kolby "Kolby Cheese" Scott Dutton

Kolby Scott Dutton was born on February 28th, 2005 at Norman Regional hospital to Kathy Michelle Chavez and Kevin Scott Dutton. Kolby tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on May 19, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Kolby was a generous, compassionate person. He is known for his love of JDM-Japanese car culture, and motorcycles alike. Kolby worked his dream job at Eurotek motorcycles, which he absolutely adored. Kolby is frequently described as bright, kind, energetic, a hard worker, and most importantly, full of love. Kolby enjoyed playing video games and restoring their Z-50 motorcycle with his Momma, Kathy. Kolby also loved the outdoors, and shared many outdoor adventures accompanied by his father, Scott, and Grandfather, Bernie. Kolby also spent time repairing and modifying his very own 2004 Acura TL 6MT with his brother, Kody.

Kolby is survived by his mother, Kathy Michelle Chavez and step-mother, Marcie Chavez; father, Kevin Scott Dutton; sister, Kasey Shea Dutton and husband, Kody Dean Hampton; step-brother, Dylan Ratliff; grandparents, Susana and Dave Pate, Victor and Mary Chavez, Gail Dutton, Leon Snelson and Anna Bryant; aunts and uncles, Alisha Leach and husband Greg Cunningham, Amy and Shawn Heath, Tyler Dutton and partner, Adriana Schenk, Victor “Buddy” Chavez II and husband, Sean Chavez; cousins, Jake and Lillie Leach, Ben and Kaylee Leach, Chad Pate, Kyla Heath and many other great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins and friends who adored him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his cousin, Zack Chavez; grandpa, Bernie Dutton; grandma, Jeanie Kirkland; great grandparents, Vernon and Ellabell Miller, Frank and Josefina Chavez, Cereaco and Herlinda Hernandez.

Funeral Services will be held at Westmoore Community Church on Thursday May 26th, at 1:00 PM, Jake Leach will officiate. Burial will be held directly after service at Resthaven Funeral home.

There will be a car meet held in Kolby’s honor on May 28th, 2022 at 3810 N Tulsa Ave, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73112 from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM.

Kolby’s Cruise With The Dudes will be the following day, May 29th at 3:00 PM, the start location of the cruise will be at Westmoore High School and we will cruise to Lake Overholser together.
