Kenneth Ray Stewart

Kenneth Ray Stewart, of Norman, passed away May 6, 2021, at the age of 77.  He was born on February 9, 1944, in Norman, Oklahoma to Roy L. & Opal Jean (McCorrel) Stewart.  Kenneth enjoyed shooting pool, singing, and playing the guitar.  He was a great concrete finisher and worked for Stewart Concrete.  Kenneth was an artist and quite the storyteller.  He had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them as well as his family.  Kenneth is survived by his son, Terry Stewart; 2 daughters, LaWanda Garner & husband, Larry, and Amanda Gonzalez & husband, José; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; his ex-wife, Shirley Boyce; and a host of friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Roy & Opal Stewart; daughters, Lisa Stewart and Angela Rinehart; 3 brothers, Larry, Jerry, and Don Stewart; and 1 sister, Donna Stewart.  A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM, Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma.  Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
