Kenneth Haley Obituary

Kenneth Lloyd Haley 63 of Moore, Ok passed away on September 22, 2020. He was born on August 21, 2020 to Floyd and Bettie Haley in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Kenneth attended Tecumseh High School class of 1975 and went on to attend Oklahoma Baptist University. He became a police officer for the Shawnee Police Department in 1978. In 1981 Kenneth started work with the United States Postal Service as a Postal Carrier where he made his career with lifelong friends, walking over 100, 000 miles over the next 33 years. After retiring from the UPS Kenneth found himself restless in retirement and tried many different delivery jobs until he landed at Pro-Del where he truly enjoyed his work and the people he worked with. Kenneth was always happy to see you, ready with a new dad joke, and up for playing any game you might think of asking him to play. He was the hardest working person that many have ever known. He had a great sense of humor beyond just dad jokes. He was very playful with his grandchildren. He loved helping other people. Kenneth was competitive and always gave his fullest effort to win. Kenneth never took himself too seriously, and if you looked his way, he was likely smiling. His friendship meant a lot to him. If you were one of his friends, you knew it. He had endless energy for work and play. Kenneth’s favorite time was the time he spent with his family. He loved his mom and dad, all of his 8 brothers and sisters, all of his many nieces and nephews, and their children. Even more so, he loved the time he spent with his 3 sons and their children. He loved being a father and grandfather. And then even more then all of these, he loved his time with his wife Betty. He loved his time with her very, very much. Kenneth had a personal relkationship with God. H was saved by grace through Jesus Christ. Kenneth is in heaven now with his mom and dad, his brother Daniel, and his nephews Austin, Elijah, and Brandon. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 39 years Betty Mae Haley; 3 children, Jared Haley(Kailey), Clifton Haley(Bethany) and their two children Emerson and Adeline, Eric Haley(Megan) and their child Leeland; seven siblings, Ivan and wife Linda, Leonard, Angela and husband Stanley, Barbara and husband Steve, Christy and husband Gary, Sandy and husband Frank, Jack and wife Renee and many nieces and nephews.
