Obituary
Katherine Ruth Shoemake of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away from this life on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the age of 78. She was born July 8, 1944, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, the daughter of Wesley and Mary Jane Wood.
Katherine is preceded in death by her parents, father Wesley Wood, mother Mary Jane McKim, and stepfather Martin McKim; two brothers Jack “Big Jack” Gabbert, and Marion “Pete” Wood; as well as her step-grandson, Shawn Haney.
She is survived by her husband, Tommy Shoemake; her children, sons Kevin Shoemake, and Freddy Shoemake and his wife Charlotte, and daughter Kathy Watts and her husband Mark; her grandson, Devon Shoemake; one brother, James “Jimmy” Wood, and one sister, Mary Jane Trammell, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and many more loving extended family members and friends.
