Johnny Ray Calhoun

Johnny Calhoun of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went Home to be with Jesus on November 16, 2021, at the age of 76. Johnny came into this life on July 4, 1945, born in Marlow, Oklahoma to John Frank Calhoun and Artie Grace Calhoun (Adkisson).

Johnny attended Capitol Hill High School, but he graduated from Lake Worth High School in Fort Worth, Texas. For over thirty years, he worked in the Security industry in management. He enjoyed golf and fishing, and he always loved any opportunity to get together with his friends. Johnny will be greatly missed by all those who ever knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Frank and Artie Grace Calhoun, his grandparents, Frank and Grace Calhoun and Herbert and Cadder Adkisson, and a great-grandson, Steven Thomas.

Johnny is survived by his daughters, Jonette Richards and husband Jim of Oklahoma City, and Brooke Calhoun of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Chris Nunn, Matt Nunn, and Nicole Thomas, Dakota Richards of Maryville, Louisiana; as well as his great-grandchildren, Timothy Pearson, Paytin Nunn, Chloe Harris, Khila Ahlfenger, Malachi Richards, Skylar Nunn, Bryson Garcia, Heaven Nunn, Christopher Nunn and Stella Nunn.

A memorial service for Johnny will begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.
