Joanna Lynn Monhatwa lived 53 years. She went by “Pups” and “Nana”. She spent her years in Oklahoma City enjoying the “Nono” (Casino), going to the “thrifty”, and playing pool. She also enjoyed refurbishing furniture and items she found on the curbs. She was compassionate and full of playful energy. Playing and gardening with her grandkids filled her heart.
Joanna is survived by her mother Pamela McNulty; Siblings Nora McCartney, Jeff Monhatwa, and Melisa Coffelt; Children Gabriel Monhatwa, Saina Monhatwa, and Lucus Monhatwa; Grandchildren Xzavier “little man” Hewitt, Hazlynn “Honey Bunny” Monhatwa, Ezekiel Monhatwa-Sanchez, Gabriella Monhatwa-Sanchez; Nieces and nephews Jaden Murrin, Mazden Murrin, Lillian McCartney, Ethan McCartney, Lila McCartney, Kylinn McCartney, Korbin Coffelt, Gunnar Coffelt, and River Coffelt.
She is preceded in death by her father Harvey Monhatwa, brother Howard Monhatwa, and sister Taletha-Monhatwa Murrin.
