Jimmie Cesar Obituary

Jimmie Lou Cesar, of Norman, Oklahoma, passed from this life on March 28, 2024, at the age of 75.  She was born April 8, 1948, in Vian, Oklahoma.  Jimmie grew up in Vian and graduated from Vian High School.  She was a very hard worker and worked for BIPO as a factory worker and retired after 27 years of service.  Jimmie loved fishing with her husband, Cecil.  They especially enjoyed fishing at Sallisaw, Vian, and The Oklahoma River.  She and Cecil loved spending time and doing things together.  You might say they were inseparable.  Jimmie loved to play Bingo, and would go with her sister, Phyllis.  They had a ball together.  She loved going to garage sales and thrift stores.  Jimmie was an excellent cook, and her family still brags about her famous biscuits and chocolate gravy.  To this day, no one can come close to making them like she did.

Jimmie was a kind soul.  She would call everyone on their birthday, and sing Happy Birthday to them, and at the end, she would always say, “God Bless You.”  When she talked to them on the phone, she would never say “goodbye,” but instead, she would say “so long,” or “see you later.”  Jimmy would do anything for anyone and would literally give you the shirt off her back.  She loved children with passion.  Jimmie played an important role in helping to raise most of her nieces and nephews.  She was their saving grace and had a huge impact on their lives.  Jimmie loved them all as her own and that love was returned by each of them.  She was an amazing woman and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Jimmie is survived by nieces, Tammy Jensen & husband, Jerrod, of Oklahoma City, Sandy Knight & husband, Roy, of Noble, Cheryl Bennani & husband, Fouad, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Kimberly Burden & husband, Joseph, of Norman, Shannon Baker and husband Daniel Aldridge, of Oklahoma City, Rhonda Noisey, of Oklahoma City; great nieces and great nephews, Monica Burden, of Norman, Marissa Babb & husband, Brian, of Oklahoma City, Amy Pauley & George Jimenez, of Oklahoma City, Jayden Burden, of Norman, Anglisa Boyer & husband, Matt, of Purcell, Alexis East & husband, Zach, of Elmore City, Stony Melton & wife, Jessica, of Moore, Hamza Bennani, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, Yassine Bennani, of Gulf Breeze, Florida, and Kenza Bennani, of Gulf Breeze, Florida; sister, Phyllis Noisey, of Oklahoma City; brothers, Billy Scoggins & wife, Judy, of Claremore, and Phillip Anthony Noisey & Amber Cook, of Moore; and a hose of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.
