Jerry Don Williams

Jerry Don Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away on May 5, 2022, at the age of 73. Jerry was born in Tipton, Oklahoma, to Theodore and Vera Williams on November 10, 1948.

As a very young man, Jerry started his career in the home construction industry as a home builder. He then went to work with his brothers at a Wrecker service. He later went on to make a career for himself at Schwarz Concrete as a truck driver, retiring after 25 years of service. Jerry liked to watch NASCAR, and he loved being outdoors and enjoyed fishing anytime he had the opportunity. He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Ora Williams, his mother, Vera Lorene (Wheeler) Williams, four brothers, Hershel Williams, Glenn Williams, Stanley Williams, and Donnie Williams, three sisters, Betty Marie Williams, Mildred Williams, and Lorece Cooper, and his longtime companion, Lois Knight.

Jerry is survived by his sister, Helen Adcox, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, from 11:00am through 8:30pm, at the John M. Ireland & Son Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 S. Broadway Avenue in Moore, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will begin at 10:00am on Friday, May 13, 2022, at the Lynlee Mae Chapel, located at 507. E. Main Street in Moore. Interment will follow the service at Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
