Jerry Obed Green

Jerry Obed Green of Davis, Oklahoma, passed away October 12, 2020 at the age of 84.  He was born November 28, 1935 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma to Obed Frederick & Florence Evelyn (Rodgers) Green.  Jerry was a minister and loved going to church and church functions.  He enjoyed going to garage sales as well as collecting tools and cars.  Jerry had to have his Dr. Pepper.  He was a builder and could build anything. Jerry even built his own home.  He was just as good at mechanics as he was at construction.  Jerry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Laquitta Green; children, Debra Erler & husband, Bob, Keith Green & wife, Karla, Gaylon Hadlock & wife, Darlene, Barry Hadlock & wife, Suzie; son-in-law, Jay Baker; grandchildren, Erica Lankford, Andrea Whiseant, Erick Hadlock, Kevin Hadlock, Nathon Hadlock, Ryan Hadlock, Cheyanne Hadlock, Callie Hadlock, Allysa Enyart, and Bridget Williams; great-grandchilden, Bryce Lankford, Ella Lankford, Addison Whiseant, Briley Hadlock, Alexia Hadlock, Kennedi Hadlock, Grace Hadlock, Tayte Benton, Colt Benton, Holden Orso, Adin Mason, and Addison Mason; sister, Joyce Holman & husband, Denzil; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.  Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Obed & Florence Green; son, Keith Hadlock; and sister, Betty Bealert.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 8:30 PM, Friday, October 16, 2020 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Jerry will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 17, 2020 at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.  Interment to follow at Heritage Burial Park, 4000 SW 119th Street, in Oklahoma City. Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
