Jane Ann (Veneziano) Baltrush, of Moore, Oklahoma, was born December 3, 1946, in Waterbury, Connecticut.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur & Jennie Veneziano; and brother, Santos.
Jane is survived by her husband of 51 years who adored her, Bill Baltrush; 2 sons, Will Baltrush and James Baltrush & wife, Darla; and daughter, Lisa Bischoff & husband, Dean; 2 granddaughters, Carissa Bischoff and Alaina Baltrush; sister, Diane Ostroski & husband, Joe; several nieces and nephews; and over 100 cousins around the country.
Jane married her high school sweetheart, Bill, in 1969, and they moved to Moore in 1977, where they were active members of St. Andrews Catholic Church. She was a cafeteria worker for Moore Public Schools for 10 years, but she was most often working behind her sewing machine. Jane made clothes, quilts, baptismal stoles, and teddy bears. If she knew what you loved, you undoubtedly received a bear in your favorite pattern! She loved exercising and socializing at the Norman YMCA and attending productions at the Yellow Rose Theater. Jane’s infectious laugh is what will be remembered most. She never missed a birthday, loved chocolate, and celebrating. Her legacy of kindness and caring will live on in the lives of all she knew.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Norman Regional Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care given to Jane and their family.
