James Foster Johnson

James Foster Johnson of Moore, OK, passed from this life on June 20, 2022, at the age of 78. Jim was born on January 29, 1944, in Freedom, OK, the son of Lafayette Johnson and Ione Green Johnson Calkins. Jim graduated from Woodward High School and gained college credits from several colleges and universities while working full-time. Jim pursued a career in computers with different companies before going to work for the state of Oklahoma, where he retired as a Systems Specialist. Jim enjoyed genealogy, reading, gardening, fishing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Jim is survived by wife Linda Thetford Johnson, of the home; children Candy Reynolds, Teresa Harkrider, Angela Brito, Dean Fanning, and Dina Lynn Fanning; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
