It is with great sadness and a lifetime of fond memories that we announce the death of Inez Longoria of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who passed away from this life on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the age of 82.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Juan Longoria; three children, Yvonne Gail Zuniga of Choctaw, OK, Jacqueline Ayala of Harrah, Oklahoma, and Erika Muniz and husband Ben Muniz of Yukon, OK; seven grandchildren, Jeremy Zuniga and wife Kellie of Choctaw, OK, Montica and Michael Rodarte of Inez, TX, Andrew Ayala of Harrah, OK, Kendra Dougan of Yukon, OK, Dianna and Eddie Mitts of El Reno, OK, and Aubrie and Alexis Muniz of Yukon, OK. Inez is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, and her siblings Mary Hernandez, Elida Banda, Pauline Ferrell, Janie Garza, Santos Hernandez, and Jesse Hernandez.
Inez adored spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren. A faithful, Christian woman, she wholeheartedly dedicated her life to God. Never one to be shy to speak her mind, Inez was honest and said whatever she wanted to say, always keeping it real with the people in her life. As the jokester of her family, she loved to laugh and cut up, lighting up every room she ever entered with her fun, loving presence.
She has several family members waiting in Heaven to greet her with open arms, especially her daughter, Alice Renee. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Bruna and Pete Hernandez, as well as Pedro Jr., Betty McCollum, Peggy Corrales, Phyllis Gonzales, Carmen Hernandez, and Alex Hernandez.
