Gregory Mark Magee entered into his Heavenly Home on February 13, 2021 in Midwest City, OK. He was born January 27, 1961 to Milton Magee and Patricia (Beavers) Magee. He grew up in Midwest City and graduated from Midwest City High School in 1979. At the age of 21, Greg went to work for Southwestern Bell/AT&T where he worked until 2008. He spent the last 11 years working for Sienna Extended Care as the Environmental Services Director.
In July 2006, Greg met the Love of his Life, Tiffany Olvera Magee. They were married On August 11, 2007. During their marriage, Greg and Tiffany enjoyed spending time together with their family and friends, shopping for records for his extensive vinyl collection, and looking for treasures at thrift stores, his beloved swap meet, or even the side of the road! Although our hearts are breaking with the loss of Greg, his body was tired from his two years fighting cancer. He never gave up hope and often said he wasn’t going anywhere!
On his arrival into heaven, Greg was greeted by his father, Milton, and his brother, Steve, who he missed terribly here on Earth. He was also reunited with the three angel babies he and Tiffany prayed so hard for. These reunions in Heaven provide some comfort to Tiffany, their three boys Mike, Matt, and Tanner. Greg is also survived by his mom, Pat, brother, Eric, his wife, Linda, and sister in law, Kim. He also leaves many special cousins and friends to cherish his memory. We cannot forget their precious fur baby, Max, who provided much entertainment and companionship over the last year. Even though Greg “didn’t even want a damn dog”, he sure loved Max and spoiled him the most!
A Rosary service will be held on Friday, March 5th at 6:30 PM at John Ireland Funeral Home at 120 S. Broadway in Moore. Greg’s Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James the Greater Catholic Church located at 4201 S. McKinley in Oklahoma City on Saturday, March 6th at 11:00 AM.
The family would like to thank Dr. Jess Armor and the staff at Mercy Oncology for their tireless work and compassion which gave us two more years together.
